Back Up Company Data

Your company data is automatically backed up every time you sync your account. Additionally, from the Invoice2go mobile app you can manually back up your company data and store it for safekeeping.

Frequently backing up your data is a good practice to ensure you have a historical record of your work.

To force sync your account and ensure your latest invoices you recently created from the Invoice2go mobile app are saved, go to the sidebar menu swipe below the Home button. *Note it is important if you are creating invoices offline due to poor data connectivity to force sync

To manually create a backup of your company data, please follow these steps:

iPhone and iPad

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Under the Database section, tap on Backup
  3. Select Email to send the backup to an email address
  4. Or, choose Open In... to select the app you want to send your backup to

Android

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Under the Database section, tap on Backup
  3. If prompted, click Allow for Invoice2go to access photos, media and files on your device
  4. Select Save Database to SD Card to save the back to your mobile device
  5. Or, choose Email Database to send the backup to an email address

Web

*All information created on the Invoice2go web app is automatically saved and you will never need to sync your information when online. In order to take a backup of your company data, you will need to use an iOS or Android mobile device. From the web app, you do have the option to use the export tool found within settings to export your invoice data.
