Manually Charge A Credit Card For An Invoice

The Easy Way to Charge Your Client’s Credit or Debit Card on the Spot

The Invoice2go Charge a Card feature allows businesses  to take payments from their clients in-person or on the phone by entering  their client’s debit or credit card details directly in the app.

Anyone can charge a card from their invoice in the app. If you don't have the card payment feature turned on for your invoices yet that’s ok. It will automatically turn on for you when you enter card details to take a payment on the spot. You can always turn off payments afterwards in settings.

Like other payments, you can manage all of your Charge a Card payments from your Stripe Dashboard. When using this feature, make sure that you comply with Stripe’s terms of service.

Credit card fraud does occur and you should always take precautions to minimise the risk. When you charge a customer’s card, you are responsible for making sure that the payer is who they say they are.
