Why Has My Invoice Template Changed?

One of the updates in the new Invoice2go is an exciting new range of invoice designs for you to choose from. They’re professional, impactful and much easier to edit thanks to a clever new editing tool that allows you to see your updates as you make them.

If you were using one of our old invoice designs, when you updated to the new Invoice2go, your invoice design would have automatically updated to one of the new designs that have been optimized for better performance. If you would like to choose one of the alternate designs available, you can update it within settings and your changes will automatically be reflected on your invoice.

Additionally, any changes to your invoice template will only affect future invoices. Historical invoices will not be affected by invoice template design changes.

If you would like to choose one of the alternate designs available, you’re able to by following these steps:

  1. From the side navigation menu, tap on Settings
  2. Tap on Customize invoice
  3. Tap on Design
  4. Scroll through the options in the footer. This is where you can:
    1. Choose a new template design
    2. Add your logo
    3. Update your template color (you can now color match this to the colors in your logo)
    4. Add a banner
    5. Choose a background image (watermark)

If you would like to include additional fields on the invoice, simply: 

  1. From the side navigation menu, tap on Settings
  2. Tap on Customize invoice
  3. Tap on Options
  4. Scroll through the options in the footer. This is where you can:
    1. Add notes
    2. Include payment details
    3. Enter Terms and conditions
    4. Toggle on and off tax breakdown and signatures
