We generate a unique alpha-numeric code for every Instant Website that gets created. By default, that code becomes the "slug" of your unique page URL. For example, without any edits, your website URL will look something like this:https://65jtbsdkjthui4.2go.me.
However, you can customize the alpha-numeric section (the "slug") of your URL.
For instance, you could rename your site's URL slug simply as "mybusiness." Doing so would result in a new URL, which would look like this: https://mybusiness.2go.me
To edit your website's URL slug,
- From the home page of the Invoice2go web app, click on Instant websites on the side navigation menu to go to the Instant Websites dashboard
- Click on Edit website
- Click on Website settings on the top navigation menu and the left sidebar will switch to show Website settings
- In the field labeled Url, simply replace the pre-populated code with whatever word or phrase you desire
- Click on Save at the bottom of the window to save your change
Note: Custom URL slugs cannot contain the following:
- Spaces
- Special characters
- Uppercase letters
