Two-factor authentication (2FA) offers an additional layer of security for accounts and is required for all Invoices2go users that are not on a trial account. Each time you log in to your Invoice2go account, an SMS text message is sent to you asking you to confirm your identity. If you do not want to verify through SMS each time you log in, you can add a computer or mobile device as a trusted device.
In order for 2FA to work, you need to add a verified mobile number to your account using the steps outlined below.
Adding a Verified Mobile Number

- Tap the Profile icon in the top right corner
- Tap Personal info
- Tap Add mobile number
- Select your country
- Add your mobile number
- Tap Send SMS code
- View the 6-digit verification code sent via SMS text
- If you did not receive the code, tap Resend SMS
- Enter the 6-digit code and tap Confirm
- Your number will be verified and can be used for 2FA on subsequent logins
using a similar 6-digit flow. Standard messaging rates may apply.

- Click Account & settings
- Under Your details, click Personal info
- Next to the phone icon, click Add
- Select your country
- Add your mobile number
- Click Next
- View the 6-digit verification code sent via SMS text
- Enter the 6-digit code and click Confirm
- We will verify your number to be used on subsequent logins. Standard messaging rates may apply.
Verifying your Identity
- When you log in to your Invoice2go account, you will receive a SMS text message with a six-digit code
- Enter the code under the line labeled Verification code
- Tap/Click on Confirm
- If you did not receive your verification code, you can tap/click Resend SMS.
