With Invoice2go integrations, you can link your QuickBooks account to Invoice2go to automatically sync your paid invoices and clients with your QuickBooks account. This way, you can seamlessly keep track of your business across multiple platforms and keep your accountant happy.
What does this integration do?
This integration will allow you to sync your Invoice2go paid invoices with QuickBooks automatically. Once your Invoice2go account is linked with your QuickBooks account, each invoice marked as fully paid will automatically sync with your QuickBooks account, along with client and item information.
Please note, this integration does not sync invoices retroactively. Only invoices marked as paid after the integration has been set up will sync with QuickBooks.
Important: You will want to ensure that both your tax and currency information is matching in both your Invoice2go and QuickBooks accounts. If they don’t, you’ll want to update your taxes and or currency in either Invoice2go or QuickBooks, so they match before linking your accounts. If taxes and or currency do not match, you will need to manually reconcile your invoices in QuickBooks.
How to sync your Invoice2go account with QuickBooks
Please note, to integrate QuickBooks with your account; you will need to be logged into Invoice2go on a desktop or laptop computer for the initial setup. You only need to do this once. Invoices marked as paid on the mobile app will still reflect on your QuickBooks account, but the setup can only be done on our Web platform.

Now that you've successfully synced your QuickBooks account to Invoice2go, the following steps will need to be taken to complete the integration:

- Confirm your tax settings
- The taxes you use in Invoice2go should match the taxes you use in QuickBooks. If they don’t, you’ll want to update your taxes in either Invoice2go or QuickBooks, so they match before linking your accounts. If taxes do not match, you will need to manually reconcile your invoices in QuickBooks.

- Ensure that the currency you use in Invoice2go and the currency that you use in QuickBooks match
- The currency you use in Invoice2go should match the currency you use in QuickBooks. If they don’t, you’ll have to update your currency in either Invoice2go or QuickBooks, so they match before you can link your accounts. If they do not match, your setup will be incomplete.
- Click on Complete in the top right corner
Once you mark an invoice as fully paid, it will automatically sync to your QuickBooks account along with your client and item details. Once you've marked an invoice as paid, log in to your QuickBooks account and navigate to your default revenue account chosen from Step 1. Next, navigate to the section labeled Sales (or Invoicing depending on your setup), and choose Invoices. There, you should see your Invoice2go invoice (see below).
Important: Please note that any actions you take on an invoice after marking it as paid in the Invoice2go app will not reflect on the invoice in QuickBooks after it has already been synced. You will need to manually update the invoice in QuickBooks to reflect any changes made in the Invoice2go app.
This will be the same on the QuickBooks end. Any changes made in QuickBooks on a synced invoice will not be reflected in Invoice2go.
