Editing the standard labels displayed on your documents gives you the flexibility to make changes that are specific to your region or business industry.
Each document is labeled with general standard labels. If you notice that one of the labels doesn’t quite work for you, you can edit the label and make it fit your needs. For example, if you need your standard label to “tax invoice” instead of “invoice” you can update that label and it will be reflected across all documents moving forward.
iOS and Android
- Tap the Profile icon in the top right corner of the home screen
- Tap Customize invoice
- Tap Options
- Tap General
- Tap Custom labels
- From here you can tap Document headings, General, or Document summary to customize different labels
- Tap into the label you wish to update, and type in your desired changes
- Tap the back arrow to save your changes once finished
Web
- Click on your Company name in the upper right corner
- Click on Account & settings
- Click on Customize invoice options
- Click on Labels
- Choose from the different drop-down options to create custom labels for different fields (Document headings, General, Document summary, Shipping details, or Remittance)
- Click into the label you wish to update, and type in your desired changes
- Once finished, click on Save design
Note: Standard labels will still show on the home screen; however, when you preview the document you will see your changes
