You can add a signature line to your documents to be signed by both you and your client using our customize invoice feature. Additionally, using our iOS app, you can have your client digitally sign your document in person.
Adding a signature line to your documents
iOS and Android
- Tap the profile icon in the top right corner of the home screen
- Tap Customize invoice
- Tap Options
- Tap Footer
- Toggle on Signature
Web
- Click on your company name in the upper right corner
- Click on Account & settings
- Click on Customize invoice options
- Click on Footer
- Click on Signature
- Check the box next to Include signature line
- Click on Save design
Signing a document
Once you've added a signature line to your documents, you can have your client sign it in person on an iOS device using the following steps.
iOS
- Open the document you wish for your client to sign
- On the preview and manage screen, tap Sign
- Add a Declaration if needed. This will appear above the signatures
- Tap Client's signature
- Have your client sign their name, and then, tap Save in the top right corner
- If needed, you can tap into Printed name and Date to make adjustments to the name printed below the signature and the date of the signature
- Tap your business name
- Sign your name, and then tap Save in the top right corner
- If needed, you can tap into Printed name and Date to make adjustments to the name printed below the signature and the date of the signature
The signatures added will now appear at the bottom of your document.
