Invoice2go has partnered with Stripe and PayPal to help you get paid quicker and make paying online easier for your customers no matter where they are located.
Please note that these payment options do come with standard processing fees.
What are the benefits of online payments?
Payment variety: Giving your customers a variety of payment options to choose from on invoices can make providing great customer service easier. By allowing customers to pay through their preferred payment method (credit card, PayPal, or offline) you can open up your business to a broader range of customers.
Quicker turnarounds: Getting paid through online payments with Invoice2go is fast and simple. When you send an invoice, customers will be able to pay directly through our payment portal. These payments will show up directly in your PayPal or Stripe account, where you can then deposit them into your bank account. This way, you can see quicker turnaround times on payments as opposed to offline methods such as cash or checks.
Seamless reporting: When an Invoice2go customer pays an invoice online, that transaction will automatically be recorded within the Invoice2go app and will reflect on your reports. This way, you don't need to manually match offline payments to documents and can focus on winning new work.

Tips: You can give your customers the option to leave a suggested or custom tip amount on a document.
Track your PayPal transactions within the Invoice2go app: Keeping track of your PayPal transactions can now be done directly in the Invoice2go app. When you start accepting payments through PayPal, go to the client payment options section of the Invoice2go app and go to the PayPal section. There, you will see your recent PayPal payments at a quick glance. There is no need to switch between apps.
Payments Customization: We’ve made online payments customizable to your business needs. We give you the ability to enable payments on your account as a whole within the client payment options section, or to toggle them on or off for individual documents. This way, if there are certain documents you only want PayPal payments turned on, and others you only want Stripe payments on for, this is possible.
Where can I enable online payments:
Mobile:
- Tap the Profile icon in the top right corner
- Below Settings, tap Client payment options
- Here, you can enable both Stripe and PayPal transactions
Web:
- Click on your Company name in the top right corner
- Click on Account & settings
- Below Settings, click on Client payment options
- Here, you can enable both Stripe and PayPal transactions
Additionally, payments can be enabled on individual documents.
