Editing Or Removing An Existing Deposit Request

There's no need to worry if an error was made when first creating and sending your original deposit request. We've made it easy to edit or remove your deposit request so you can easily manage your important documents. 

Use the steps below to edit and/or remove your deposit requests:

iOS and Android 

  1. Open the document
  2. Tap Edit in the top right corner
  3. Tap on Deposit request
  4. To edit your deposit, set the deposit amount to the updated percentage of the total cost or a fixed amount, and then tap Save
  5. To remove your deposit, tap Cancel this request and then confirm you would like to cancel the deposit request by tapping Yes
  6. Save the updated invoice or estimate and send the updated document to your client. Your client will not be able to complete their updated deposit request unless the new document is sent to them via email or SMS

Web

  1. Open the document
  2. On the right side of the screen below the balance, click on View deposit request
  3. To edit your deposit, set the deposit amount to the updated percentage of the total cost or a fixed amount, and then click Save
  4. To remove your deposit, click Cancel this request
  5. Click Save and close and send the updated document to your client. Your client will not be able to complete their updated deposit request unless the new document is sent to them via email
