Add Email CC and BCC on Invoices

When you send invoices to your customers, you can CC and BCC yourself on each invoice and receive a copy of your invoices for bookkeeping and personal reference.

You can CC or BCC yourself on all your generic email messages or you have the option to specify which documents you want to be copied on: invoices, estimates, purchase orders, or credit memos.

iOS and Android 

  1. Tap the Profile icon in the top right corner of the home screen
  2. Under the settings section, tap Client communication 
  3. Tap Custom email message
  4. Tap Default email message 
    • If you would like your preferences to be different for different document types, toggle off Use a generic message and choose the document type you wish to edit
  5. Enter your email address either in the CC or BCC field
  6. Tap the back arrow to save your changes

Web

  1. Click on your Company name in the upper right corner
  2. Click on Account & settings
  3. Under the Settings section, click on Client communication
  4. Under the Email messages section, enter your email address either in the CC or BCC field
    • If you would like your preferences to be different for different document types, toggle off Use the same email message for all document types and choose the document type you wish to edit
  5. Click on Save in the top right corner
