Change the Email Address Used to Send Invoices

If you’re using a mobile device, you can send invoices from your personal email and change the outgoing email as needed.

iPhone and iPad

Invoice2go sends invoices through the Mail app on iOS using your default email address.

If you have multiple email accounts, you can set the email account you want to use as the default account with the following steps:

  1. Go to your device's Settings app
  2. Select Mail
  3. Select Accounts
  4. Select your default account and enable the check box for Mail

If you only have one email account in the Mail app, you can add a new email address to use when you tap on Add Account. Then set it as your default email account.

Android

Android devices have the ability to choose a default email app. If you have multiple email accounts, you can either switch between your accounts or set one of them as your default account in the settings of your email app.

These steps will vary by device, but generally you can perform the following:

  1. Go to your device's email settings (Settings > Accounts > Email) or open them from your default Email app
  2. From the list of accounts, select your default account 

Web

The option to change the email address when sending invoices is not available on the web app. All email sent from the web will be coming from our domain invoice2go@spemail.2go.com, but note that the Reply To email that the recipient sees will automatically be set as your account email.
