Edit Custom Labels

Editing your standard labels displayed on your invoice gives you the flexibility to make changes that are specific to your region or business industry. 

Invoice2go labels each document with general standard labels. If you notice that one of the labels doesn’t quite work for you, you can edit the labels and make it fit your needs. For example, if you need your standard label to “tax invoice” instead of “invoice” you can update that label and it will be reflected across all documents moving forward.

iOS and Android

  1. Tap on the Profile icon in the upper right corner of the home screen
  2. Tap on Customize invoice 
  3. Tap on Options
  4. Tap on General
  5. Tap on Custom labels
    • From here you can tap on Document headings, General, or Document summary to customize different labels
    • Tap on the green back arrow to save your changes once finished

Web

  1. Click on your Company name in the upper right corner
  2. Click on Account & settings
  3. Click on Customize invoice options
  4. Click Labels
  5. Choose from the different drop-down options to create custom labels for different fields (Document headings, General, Document summary, Shipping details, or Remittance)
  6. Once finished, click Save design 

Note: Standard labels will still show on the main screen; however, when you preview the invoice you will see your changes
