Change Account Email Address

You may want to change the email you use to access and receive emails from Invoice2go. Changing your email will change the email used to access all your accounts and can impact the email in which you receive account, subscription, marketing and payments-related communications

Changing your email will impact how you log in to all your accounts.

If the email says ‘Account owner’ next to it, changing your email will change the email in which you receive account, subscription, marketing and payments-related communications.

If you have payments enabled on any of your accounts, changing your Invoice2go email will not impact your Stripe account access. The email that receives payment notifications may need to be updated separately by contacting support.

When you change your email, two emails will be sent:

  • A notification email to the original email that the email is being changed.
  • A validation email to the new email. You must click the verify link in the validation email for the email change to take effect.

iOS and Android

  1. Tap on the Profile icon in the upper right corner of the home screen
  2. Tap on Change login email
  3. Enter new account login email
  4. Tap on Save
  5. Tap on Confirm change
  6. In order for the email change to take effect you must click the validation link in the email sent to the new address. The new email will not display within the app until the link is validated from the validation email

Web

  1. Click on your Company name in the upper right corner
  2. Click on Edit next to your email
  3. Enter new account login email
  4. Click on Continue
  5. In order for the email change to take effect you must click the validation link in the email sent to the new address. The new email will not display within the app until the link is validated from the validation email
